How many restrooms do you need for a wedding? Plan for one restroom per 50 guests for a 4-hour wedding. Add more units if alcohol is served or the event runs longer.

Why Restrooms Matter More Than You Think

Guests may not remember the flowers or the playlist, but they will remember long lines or uncomfortable setups. Clean, well-planned restrooms quietly support the entire experience.

How Many Restrooms Do You Need?

Standard Units vs. VIP Restroom Trailers

This comes down to the feel you want:

VIP trailers include: Flushing toilets, Running water, Mirrors and lighting, Climate control. They feel more like an indoor restroom, just placed exactly where you need it.

When to Book

Spring and fall weddings fill up fast. Book at least 4-8 weeks in advance (earlier for peak dates).

Placement Tips

Keep units: Close enough for convenience, Far enough to stay out of sight, Easily accessible for servicing.

Bonus tip: place them on level ground and consider lighting for evening events.

Don’t Forget Accessibility

Make sure your setup includes ADA-accessible options so all guests are accommodated comfortably.

Simple Checklist

  • Guest count finalized
  • Units reserved
  • Placement planned
  • Service schedule confirmed
  • Add-ons (hand wash stations, lighting) included

Final Thought
